There's a bunch of threads on Nadal's racquet and strings. We've had past stringers post pics of his equipment before this one and he does use Babolat Duralast 15g and a painted Aeropro Drive without Cortex. But hey, that's just my opinion and practically everyone else's in here.

Did you recall if that yellow cortex "v" that is the cortex painted on or is it actually "raised" and physically there?

with such a small grip, his racquet would be very unestable and twist a lot if it wasnt for the big amount of lead he puts on the racquet head.

Yeah, he's got a "tweener racquet" and a "female" grip. The real men are the country club and public park dudes with Pro Staff 88s and 4 5/8 grips who, despite having a robust fantasy tennis life, are not # 1 on the ATP World tour.

Any idea how many overgrips? It doesn't look that small in the photos.

I'm surprised so many here are shocked at the small size of his grip. It has been discussed before pretty often. I know I use a size 2, not because Nadal does but because a small grip feels much better to me. I have pretty good size hands for my height 5'11" and by measuring should use a #4 but when I have tried grips this size I feel like a caveman swinging a club. Oh well different strokes I guess.
