Bad deal with Dave Langford

Hi all,

do not buy from Dave Langford, here's why.

I contacted Dave Langford about buying a head prestige mid from him 2 weeks ago, payed him $70 us for it, via paypal.

He emailed back saying he shipped it, but up til today I have not received the racquet. I have contacted him about 5 times asking about the racquet, from one week ago until yesterday and have not heard a peep from him.

So there you have it, may my loss be a lesson to you all; do no buy from Dave Langford.

I guess maybe I'm not familiar with how PayPal works, but I didn't think that he was supposed to get paid until you notified PayPal that you had the "goods".

That's not true. Paypal payment is independent of verification of receipt. You may be able to followup with Paypal; perhaps they can refund you -- I'm not sure. Unfortunately, every once in while, there is a dishonest person. I've conducted many transactions on TW and have not had a problem, but I also know sometimes it's hit or miss. Good luck to ya.
