I would think it has to be Sampras, but couldn't find out for sure on a google search.

I bet it was Goran Ivanisevic. But he had a lot of DF's too.

I bet Fed is up there on the list, he gets a LOT of 2nd serve aces, especially slice down the T on the ad side.

big servers usually have a high rate of 2nd serve ace. I would say Sampras, Goran.

Probably a lefty... for the slice serve out wide on the ad court, or down the t on the deuce court.
Fed's got a lot of 2nd serve aces, too. |

Ivanisevic no doubt, but he has a lot of double faults as well. Sampras also has many second serve aces especially on crucial points with less double faults rate.

Scud would have been up there on a match by match basis, basically served two first serves a lot of the time.

Sampras had the greatest second serve of all time, I'd bet it was him.

Lately Fed has been serving some aces on his 2nd serve.
Quite a rare shot though. |

Doesn't answer the question but these stats for the past year yield some insight...
Andy Roddick: Service Record Year-to-Date 333 Aces (total) 040 Double Faults 70% 1st Serve 78% 1st Serve Points Won 56% 2nd Serve Points Won Roger Federer: Service Record Year-to-Date 218 Aces (total) 067 Double Faults 60% 1st Serve 77% 1st Serve Points Won 56% 2nd Serve Points Won

I'd go with Sampras. Possibly Ivanisevic, but he went for more on his 2nd serves than Sampras did.
