Default baby tennis

okay, i'm not the only one who has faced opponents who play like this when the see they are being handled, so need some decent counter strategies to this... umm... way of playing the game of tennis.

thus far, my best strategy has been slow down the game (because they have already done that) and use more stroke variations, slice more often, more angles, etc.. and smash the winners when opportunity knocks. there is however a danger of being sucked into their way of playing, so make certain your shots are good, consistent and think finesse.
