Next week is pretty tough - my son has like 3 volleyball matches. How about Wed 4/21.

I played SK on Monday.

Although I'm not too big in clay court here neither, cant slice at all and then takes me a whole section of hard court to get the rhythm back(I am such a cry baby). But for fun and giggles I'm up to any time...hey....its tennis after all!!
Man, everyone is ignoring us

Lets do Blanchard this Friday, and leave the clay maybe for next week? what time will be fine? I'm OK after 4:30.

K.C. don't worried about membership in OTC, Fridays its free, no membership need it and hardly anybody play in the afternoons,we can find courts for sure.

Man my mom is coming in to town so might be difficult for me to play this Friday unless she agrees to go with me and watch ehm enjoy the park with my dog Sammy

I will try to be there if no rain...what time did you all agree to show up?

Btw I agree with above said that it hurts more muscles to play on fake clay I guess different muscles groups are involved. I always thought that I might be doing something wrong since I always (2-3 times lol) felt it was tougher on my body than hard courts.

I did hovever play basketball on hard courts and gyms my whole life so I am use to hard stops and quick takeoff I cannot stand sliding. I just thought it would be time for me to learn this...

OTC is free to the public on Friday. You won't need a reservation to get a clay court since it is usually dead on Fridays. Just prepare to fight rush hour traffic getting out of there and wear shoes with non-marking soles. I don't want to see my courts chewed up Saturday morning.

Yep, I am. It is really amazing how differently YT plays compared to MG version. The difference is huge (for me at least). Less stiff, more power, more feel, 100x better for block bh return...

I need to ask them what the policy is on Friday, I think we had this discussion a few months back. What is "worm up"?

PP,

Here is a recent thread talking about stringing your entire racket at once. Nobody has really addressed the issue yet.

Thanks. I just got the stringer shipped to my office today and I am staring at the box. I need to buy some wire cutters to cut out strings and I am ready to go. I will practice on my m-fil first.

I made a thread here http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=321747 that may help out some fellow noobs while I try to string my first stick. I had too little sleep tonight to get this done, but I already ran into some problems.
