I might add that it is aparent that fed this year is taking it easy in the masters and basically stays in until he feels ready, adjusted for the surface as soon as he is ready he tanks. Smart but bad for fans who pay premium to see half of Djokovic Murray match.

I believe he does not have full tank to stay in all of these turneys but I believe he has enough for slam run

Well you can't dink the ball and expect it to go unpunished . There has to be a threshold of power for a serve to be effective. Except for the illusive hello kitty serve !

I played again last night. It took my shoulder a few games to get warmed up. When I really connect with the proper form, my serve is pretty good. But the problem is, I'm not sure what I'm doing right versus wrong. I'll hit a fairly powerful ace followed by a bunny first serve.

Courts 4 and 9 have been a mess for the few years I have played there. Court 10 used to be bad, but they redid the draining on it a year or so ago and now it is a nice court. Doubt they'll have the money anytime soon to fix those courts.

Both those courts have bad drainage problems. If you have that court booked during the morning, you better hope it does not rain the day before.

Actually, my bad. They book us 4, but we change to 3, and 3 was the one with too much clay on it. No big deal for us, we play fine. But it was quiet a lot.

Sadly Coyfish and I didn't play pass the hour since I got a low back pain reaching a drop shot. Sorry Doc. Guess I abuse of my fast healing and my body said "no too fast buddy". Just came from the chiropractor, so I hope feel better soon.

Have good day guys!!

I've only warmed up on those 2 courts. Never played a match on them. I did see the maintenance crew working on 4 the other day. Got to hit at OTC early this afternoon before the rains and between appointments. Actually hit on the hard courts just to feel like Coyfish and UA

UA - you're too young to be having these issues. maybe u need to take up surfing again to strengthen that back.

ssgator - btw - good call on Irene's eastward track.

I really think that the only one of those Hurricanes hit us is if it gets in the Gulf and gets caught up in a H and shoots it across the state, like Charlie - right. I grew up in West Palm Beach and never had a storm come across the gulf stream. It seems like they hit the gulf stream at shoot right up the coast and away from FL. Now Andrew did come across the gulf stream and slam Homestead.

Man I surfed for a short period (maybe 4 months) when I was a kid but I'll never forget the sansation. It's really amazing. I stopped because a shark attacked a kid right on the beach that I used to surf in. Damn, I missed it so much but everytime I thought about it I pictured the Image of a shark biting my fricking leg from below while waiting for a wave. It just blocked me out completely to this date.

yeah i have the same stupid thing. My buddy got bit when we were kids and now I hate going out deep when I can't see under me. It sucks because I love the ocean and surfing is fun.

I also go to Coca Pier sometimes and watch people fish over it and pull up sharks all day on their lines while right next to surfers..doesn't really help things..haha.

PP - also saw a big shark swim the CB pier not far from the surfers (30 ft away) and then go back out to sea. it was really clear and calm that day.

Tebow - Recife had bull shark problems in the 90's then the cause was discovered.

I love visiting that bar at the end of the pier.

Went by Blanchard today for a few minutes of serve practice but all the courts were taken.

Yes, the tiki bar..that is where I see all the sharks get caught.

The restaurant inside has killer fresh fish sandwiches..which is all I eat when I go to the beach.
