Yep, been to that restaurant a few times. Was expecting a typical tourist trap the first time, but have always been impressed with the fish they serve.

Recife is an-hour-drive from my hometown. I swear, during that time every single day a shark used to bit someone, until they killed a bunch of sharks and kind of fixed the problem. But, still, there are always many sharks in that area because of the reefs. (Recife means reef in portuguese, and the beach is completely taken by them).

Is the water at least clear there?

I think I am much more of a snorkler/scuba guy now because I love diving and checking out reefs still.

I'm more of a pool guy. Just a few critters in there from time to time and plenty of chlorine.

think it was determined that an old slaughterhouse (up hill from the beach) was leaching blood into the water. that brought the bull sharks.

Thanks you so much BC. If i ever buy one I think I will do a custom for my crazy weight. BUT!!one of the many reason I called it quit was cause my story of low back problems. I use to come with so much pain from surfing in the last times(thanks tennis for coming back to my life).

Next time we see each other we talk about surf life. Enjoy the swell, hopefully at one point winds turn offshore for you with head high waves.

I love diving too. Used to go with my dad all the time and we saw several hammerheads. Have not been in a few years. Last time I went diving I got the bends in a cavity and those were 3 horrible hours. I can only imagine what true bends feels like ...

You mean the 192 clearance, right? I am another fan. Going during the week is the best selection. The best thing about that store is its the latest stuff and dirt cheap.
