The humidity shut me down. My god. but yeah, we hit around until 7. Wanted to do some sets but kept thinking it was going to rain at any minute

I think there is a flu going around and I had it but my body fought it off, because I have been pretty sore and weak compared to normal for about 8 days now. I was sweating so bad out there yesterday.

It just kills the footwork. Like you know what you need to do and it's just not happening. Just turning to the side on a stroke took way too much effort. Its been like this now for a week. Oh well, I always tell myself a lot of people would not even be out in this weather doing what we are doing.

Just got word that ssgator's team won their first team contest at Sectionals. Congrats to the OTC team, hope they make it to Nationals.

I saw they are 2-0 after yesterdays matches... great bunch of guys on that team.. strong competitors.. hopefully they will wrap it up today and move on to sectionals...
ps let me know if anyone wants to practice this week.. |

Yes. We won yesterday 5-0 against the team from Brevard. I won a doubles match on Friday and lost my singles match on Saturday afternoon 7-5, 7-6. I was on the court for 3hrs with the match starting at 12:45.
Back in Daytona in August. |

I seriously am hating playing right now. It is just so bad on me with the humidity that I sweat so much. I lost a 2 set tiebreak that I could have won, but that did not really even phase me because the match was rather enjoyable. What sucks is sweating so much that I'm cramping,,my clothes are soaked. Shoes are sloshy, grips barely last. It's just not fun for me right now to play tennis in this weather. I am hitting with my friend Thursday and then I am thinking about shutting it down for a bit or doing something else...I don't know, it's just frustrating to deal with. It's not really enjoyable leaving tracks of sweat all over the court when I move...no fun. The leg cramps kick in and then I can't move my feet as much or get off the ground on serve...uggggh.
