Hey Mikeler I did not follow the whole story with your elbow so you might have mentioned this but question i have is: did you get it before or after you started playing with pure storm tour +?

Reason I am asking is that one of the sticks, (in a vast universe of sticks that I used) that I realized was not good for my elbow, was pure storm tour and you even have + version (is that correct?) and extended racket is one of the factors that negatively affect elbow crunch in a racket.

On some hard backhands PST would somehow affect my elbow that is hard to describe (almost crunching feeling) something I usually never experience in when hitting a backhand. Even my APDC would feel better than PST on a OHB. Forehand was less affected but I definitely would feel the difference when comparing PST to say Aero Pro. Just a thought.

I am swamped with work so no tennis for at least a week or 2...
Anyone around oh the 13th or 14th of jan for maybe some tennis? I should be down to 2.0 level by then lol but will try my best to dust off my serve...

Thanks for the info. I got the PSTs because they feel great on my arm. Never had any issues with the backhand. It's mostly on the serve until the pain gets so bad that forehands start to hurt too. I know extended length is supposed to be worse on your arm, but I've played with them in the past before I got Golfer's Elbow without a problem. Now I'm using very soft strings and the setup feels great.

I was just outside. It is not very windy, so I don't think the conditions will be all that bad for tennis today.

Split with the Champ 6-7, 6-3. He only wanted to play 2 sets. His hamstrings are still a litlle sore. Won Friday in 3 sets. 6-3, 4-6, 6-3. Beat RJ today 6-2, 6-2. All are just coming back from time off, so I not letting it go to my head. Now if I do this in May, it would mean I'm playing pretty good tennis.

I didnt realize Friday afternoon's are free at OTC after 3. I will probably like to schedule matches for that day. It was dead and very easy to get a court. We started at 3:30

The Champ got that injury right before the tournament. He does not like to quit, so it must have really been hurting him. As for your win against the lefty, good job. When he gets on a roll it can be tough against him.

Going to visit a guy tomorrow who does the Graston technique for tendon treatment. Bought some flexbars too. I'm trying everything under the sun to try and get out on the court. Cortisone shot I'll save as the final option.

I did 150 serves and wallball this weekend on saturday. No one showed up to hit at the courts...it was pretty darn cold. I may try to get some court time tonight. I hate this weather so much.

Wish I could hit with you guys this weekend, but I am going on a cruise.

Been dating this girl who works saturdays so we usually get up pretty early that day. I may be trying to do some Sat AM hitting as a result once I get back. I know that is the time to be at OTC so it makes sense.

Yep, 9:30 to 10 on Saturday is when all the good players show up. Most want to play doubles but I can introduce you to guys who are looking for singles as well.

Let me know what he says. He is the one pushing me to get a cortisone shot because the pills did not work for him either but the shot did.

Good deal. Enjoy your trip. I have a 3 day weekend but I'm not sure I feel up to hitting balls just yet.
