Default How many career slams will Federer win?

After the AO people were saying Fed might not win another slam. With Nadal struggling with injuries and Djokovic looking unfocused, the last two months have changed everything. How far can Fed go?

I'd say between 18 to 20. More likely 18. I still think federer will win Wimbledon and the USO for the next two years. Not so sure about Australia. Although if his serve is back to how it was in early 07, then I'm pretty confident that he can win one more of those also.

He has already won 14 lol, and his career is nowhere near over, and his biggest opposition is out of wimbledon so Id say he has 17-18 in him.

How many CAREER SLAMS he can win? He can only win 1. In terms of just Grand Slams, I'd say about 16.

I can see federer winning another Wimbledon and US Open or Aussie Open easily - I don't know if he has another French in him though. I think he'll grab 3 more and that'll probably be about all.

OP, a career slam can only be won ONCE, ...... UNLESS you have multiple careers, lol, like Federer retires, comes back and wins 4 more on diff surfaces.

I agree the question phrasing was not ideal. I should have written "how many total slams will Fed win in his career." If anyone knows how to edit the question (which I don't), please feel free.

I'd just venture a guess and say 2 more Wimbledon titles, 1 more Australian Open and 1 (maybe 2) more US Open(s).

That would be 18-19, which seems like a ton, but it's really not out of the question.

I'm gonna say 5 more- 2 Wimbys, a French, and either 2 USOs or 1 US and 1 AO. That leaves him w/ 19.

I'd say around 17, and as many others have already pointed out, we're predicting Grand Slam numbers, not career slams, because you can only have one of those and Fed's already maxed it out...

You can vote for the option of 21+ if you think he will win 24...

24 is a bit too optimistic isn't it?

No why? 2 more this year and 2 calendar slams in 2010 and 2011 before he retires at 30 years old. (OK I've drunk too much wine I think...)
