I'm nothing if not a Federer fan, but his latest outfit really fuels the fire that either his sartorial sense is really bad or the folks at Nike are really bad designers.

WTF... and I thought the freaking cardigan was bad. Seriously, how in the world did he ever think this was a good idea.

That is awful. He had full two weeks of rest to get this right. Effed it up big time.

If its a high-fashion statement from the catwalks of Europe, then I don't get it. Can't they keep his outfits simple and elegant - like the man himself?

...and look at the gold-and-white bag in the first photo... that belongs to Maria Sharapova not an ATP tennis player.

Can't he just stick to normal dress? I suppose his contract with Nike ensures that won't happen..... |

Oh my god can it get any worse?
I doubt this is Nike...they would surely realise the marketing flop. He looks like a right royal smugness, trying to play up to his media image of perfection. Barely appropriate for the sport. Belongs at a snooker table.

He's very simple otherwise - he prefers a t-shirt and jeans. I think its the stupid folks at RF/Nike that manage his outfits and image who do a disservice to him.
What's for next year, a three piece white suit with a coat-tail and a gallon hat?? |

Agreed, the jacket is ugghhh!
However, the waistcoat and trousers look nice. Kind of classic in a way with a modern flair. The bag is a bit over the top. If the sun comes out that could blind folks sitting across the court from it. |

I said before, when referring to the 'Pink Shirt', I don't care what they wear, however, I draw the line at leather chaps.
Roger is very stylish, and what he wears is fashionable. The same goes for Nadal-these bright colours are going to be seen next year as apparently there is going to be a lot of hippie influence, or something along those lines I believe. I have to wonder though, who these designers are, and how I am still unemployed? I think he looks all right, very 30s-ish. The bag has to go though. |
