I might just have to go and bye some. I have really sweaty hands so hopefully the tourna grip will help me!

TournaGrip original comes in blue only; TournaTac (guess what? a tackier version of the same) comes in white and pink (as used by V. Azarenka)

Tourna Grip only comes in blue. However, Tourna Tac comes in white. it is a cross b/t the adsorbance of Tourna Grip and the tack of Yonex/Wilson grips.

i like the Pro Supex/Gamma/Yonex white grip in the winter. Spring and Fall tourna tac. When May arrives, I can't hope to play without fear of throwing the racquet unless Tourna Grip is on it.

Nothing absorbs like Tournagrip, and I suspect most of the pros using it are not paid to do so, as Unique is not a huge company. But more to the point, why does Conquistador sound like a paid lackey for Gamma in this and any number of posts? Bashing a product like a Tournagrip which has been the benchmark product in the field leaves you with very little credibility.

I prefer Wilson Pro Overgrip, but I really don't sweat much. Tournagrip would be my grip if I did though... It's all preference really, unless you are too dogmatic to try them all out then it's stupidity.

Ehhh I don't like it that much.

Most of the people around my area use the white Wilson overgrip.

Wilson has got really rough over the last couple of years atleast from what it used to be. I love tournagrip when it's wet, it's a lot more comfortable than wilson which can give me blisters sometimes.

I never bashed tournagrip, I asked why pros arent under contract with it.

The blisters are the only reason that I would personally try switching to Tournagrip.

You really do sound like your a rep for Gamma though...

Gamma products suck IMO . Only thing worth it are the grips, which are half decent.

I think I read somewhere that Unique Sports doesn't sponsor players.

How do they suck? You are basing biased psychology upon their product. Admit it--you say they suck because everyone else does. Gamma has no one under contract--so everyone says they suck because they see no pros using their stuff. I bet if federer used gamma--it would be the number 1 selling product in everything worldwide. Thats no joke-thats reality. You get someone to endorse product, and it will sell.

I've used gammas strings and the only thing I can say is: They suck and thats not only me saying that. Gamma supreme overgrip is alright, not the best ever but still good.

So why doesn't Gamma gets some top players to endorse their products? HINT: Maybe they are not nearly as good as you think they are.

Also if Federer used gamma it would probably be a paintjob

If he didn't speak like he's one of the Gamma's CEOs son I would give him some credibility... But his posts are so biased thats not even funny.

That's incorrect. They have sponsored (and still do) several players, including Sampras, Blake, Azarenka and the Bryan brothers. Their budget isn't as big as the larger tennis companies, so their profile and roster aren't as large.

If that were the case, Gamma would do it. The fact is that getting someone to endorse your product has a specific (and fairly predictable) impact on sales. While Federer using Gamma would certainly help their sales, it would not make them number one. That would be impossible based on their business plan, distribution channels, etc.

The decision of whether to sponsor players, and also which ones and how many, is based upon a company's marketing plan and market position, and whether they think the investment will cost more or less than the sales they would gain. In Gamma's case, they feel they can gain more from other marketing tactics, and that pro sponsorship is overpriced in comparison to the sales gains it would provide.
