Default Inconsistency in Djokovic's racquet and his ACTUAL racquet

So TW listed Youtek Speed Pro as Djokovic's signature racquet.

But isn't that racquet's string pattern 16/19? I saw a recent photo of Djokovic at Wimbledon (3rd round match?) I counted the strings... the racquet he's holding has 18/20 string pattern. See below (if the image shows):

I thought if Head is going to let his top players use paint job they'd at least makesure the paint job matches the racquet's string pattern, racquet head shape.. etc.

Do you think that Head cares about that?
Their target are the weekend warriors who want to emulate their favourite player style & behaviour and don't care about spending 200$ in a racquet that in fact he doesn't use.
We here at TW are a nich.

PJs cannot match a string pattern

well it basically comes down too, if you arent a member here, or a huge tennis enthusiast, then there is no way you would ever notice this. I hated the speed pro anyway.

this is not news OP, there are like 3 active threads on this already, but whatever.
i still can't understand why they don't include the falcon dampener with the djokovic sig frame, lol they'll probably sell it separately for $4.95 in a couple of months.

if any of you have lm radical mp, eyeball it in front of that photo and you will see that its the same racket mold string pattern etc...he might have adjusted layup flex pattern etc... but it is definitely lm rad mp.

i think your right, but ppl don't buy it anymore i guess because it's old and the cosmetics don't look gd. but the new head youtek rad mp is pretty similiar and better cosmetics, so one of these 2 are the ones to buy if you want to buy a similiar one to djokos but obviously your going to need to add lead probs around 30g to get anywhere near his.

the LM Rad MP is great in my opinion, I love it.....but, it sure is ugly!....wish I could get mine painted like SpeedPros....I think the SpeedPro hits like junk...they should have just repainted old stock LM Rads and sold them as Djokovic frames and they could have made a bundle

i dont get why the media was getting all hyped when he switched from wilson to head, even though it was the same racquet. at first i thought we did actually switch, until i saw closer pics of what he was really using.

Wait...you're saying he didn't really switch to Head? So what is he REALLY using?

No we are saying he really is using LM Radical the racket he has always been using under different paintjobs. Wilson made exact copy of MG Radical for Djoko when he went to Wilson.

I leaded my LM Radical with 9gr of lead in the head and Leather grip and its the beast

If this is true then why would djokovic talk about struggling early this year with a racquet switch?

"But, as I said, I've had a lack of the matches and I made some major changes, with the racquet for example, so I need to get some more matches under my belt so I can feel comfortable."

Im sure that he wouldnt be biting the hand that feeds him (HEAD) unnecessarily?

QF - Australia - Lost to Roddick
W - Dubai - Beat Ferrer
QF - Indian Wells - Lost to Roddick
F - Miami - Lost to Murray
F - Monte Carlo - Lost to Nadal
F - Rome - Lost to Nadal
SF - Madrid - Lost to Nadal
3rd Round - Roland Garros - Lost to Kolschreiber
F - Halle - Lost to Haas
QF - Wimbledon - Lost to Haas

This year is a pretty good year but since Djokovic had such a huge last year, we fail to see his results. Certainly I'm using the data to try to explain but the majority of the time, he's only losing to the top tier players. Probably a mental problem more than his equipment

Djokovic is one of my favored players and I am quite disappointed that he hasn't really won a major title yet this year. but hopefully he has a good last half of the year like in '07
