^^^

I'm guessing it's a KPS88 with a K90 paintjob. That would make the most sense since both Edberg and Sampras used the PS 6.0 85 for their entire careers.

BTW, was Edberg playing an exo in LA? This is the first I've heard of this. Who did he play against? Sampras?

16x18 pattern: PS6.0 95

I spot the grooves in the bumper... just like the ones for the PS6.0 95

A 3-man round robin between Chang, Courier, and Edberg . A match per night -- ending on Saturday. If it is a 6.0 95, maybe they'll do a signature for Edberg: KPS 95. Looks like he moved away from Fed's frame. It's a shame that tennis organizers do a pretty poor job of advertising their events. One would think that the 4 legends that are playing in LA would get shown on TV -- at the very least stream the matches online. Who wouldn't want to watch Edberg v Courier?

I wonder why Sampras wasn't part of this but played against Safin instead?

It would have been pretty cool to have seen a Edberg/Sampras/Courier/Chang round robin as all of these guys have had some epic matches against each other during their careers, especially Edberg vs. Chang.

Could be. That was my 2nd guess as the head does look kind of big.

it is not a fake he is using the ps 6.0 95. Also if anyone noticed courier switched from the real ncode 90 to the pete pre ps 88/ federer racket. His handle is shorter and the string spacing is different like rogers. but its for sure not a k90

I think you're right. Only the 6.0 95 has a headguard like that with a box beam. And the beam looks closer to 20 mm than the 17-18 mm for the 85-88 sq. in. models.

Agreed, it does look like the 6.0 95 from the pics. I'll be attending the his match tonight against Chang and will hopefully get some pics.

Can't wait to see those sweet volleys up close and live for the first time!

^I was at the match, it was late in the day(5:30) & Safin-Gulbis had just finished a 3 setter, so a lot of the crowd left for a breather. day matches in the early rounds don't generally have the best attendance anyway (even if most tickets are sold - LA has a lot of season ticket holders that just come to the night matches. Guess those people have jobs)

It started getting crowded near the end(when the night session people started entering the stadium) There was supposed to be an oncourt autograph session with Chang, Edberg, & Courier afterwards but they nixed it because they had to start the night session.

And its not easy to watch tennis for 7 or 8 hours straight in 85 degree heat with no shade, I was getting a bit tired/hungry at the end of the Edberg match, wish they put it on earlier in the day. Edberg got a little tight in the super tiebreak, he had match points. He also imitated mac's serve for some reason on one point. what a wacky guy! he got his serve up to 121. and hit a couple aces at 117.

sampras isn't a big fan of playing multiple matches in a week(the champions tour changed their format for him this year, it used to be 3 rr matches & the final, now its just 2 matches)

I think LA would have had to pay him quite a bit more to play more than just one day, he's quite a bit bigger name than Chang, Courier, & Edberg.

The tournament organized these exos after it realized it couldn't get Roddick, Blake, Murray etc(& paid the senior players out of the appearance fee money they were going to use for those guys)
