Those ball chasers on the court (not the players)

I noticed that in this Wimbledon tournament that the ball chasers who sit by the net are almost all wearing skirts. Is this a new trend? a couple or a few years ago they didn't that I noticed, but this is the first time it's caught my eye. Granted that the outfit was all black, but you could tell that it's a skirt.

They're called ballboys/ballgirls just FYI. Also its dark navy not black, but are you saying the boys are wearing skirts too?? I agree this is absurd.

But anyway....this is from a long while ago, 1995:

Wearing a skirt, thus we end this thread.
