Probably because Federer uses leather and Murray uses Karakal PU

Just wanting to keep up, thanks! I want to see the SW.

Not sure on the swingweight but I did recall the balance as 33.2cm now from some one on here.

Yeah. I remember that thread. ericsson provided that balance from the same racquet he posted in here. If only I knew the SW, his specs would be complete.

I remember drag0n provided an estimate of the SW in that very thread, but it seems a bit too off-the-top.

Haha I'm not calling you out or anything. Even still, your estimate is probably rather accurate, or at least in the low 350's range of SW.

I think Murray's racquet weight and SW are closer together now. He's stated in one interview that he has moved the weight towards the center of the racquet. Plus, ericsson has told me that the racquet is rather depolarized. I would assume he would have lowered his SW down to very near his racquet weight. Plus, you can see him swinging faster strokes, likely due to a lower SW.

My only concerns, as so far, is what is his exact swingweight right now and how he distributes the weight on his racquet. Murray seems to actually tinker and play with his own equipment as much as any TTer. His setups keep changing!

Fed's grip is white. You're saying he's got a white leather handle? Murray doesn't use Karakal - its Tournagrip he uses.

Murray's base grip is Karakal and his OG is tourna. Fed's base grip is leather and his OG is white Wilson Pro.

That is not Murray's actual stick.
Looks like PT57A in Radical MP PJ, 18x20 signed by him though...

May be not his actual stick, but one he might used in the past.

More pics...

ahm...no.
He stopped using the 18x20 pattern with the iRadical PJ.
You have the YT Radical MP PJ which is fairly recent.. It does look like the PT57A under the PJ.

I know a really good handwriting expert, just in case you're concerned about the authenticity of the signature.

Also, for dr, west nile is only 4.0, but he's sneaky and underhanded. Serves that way too.

The paintjob is a tad old, too. Perhaps we could get a more recent stick, along with specs.

I recall seeing Murray's SW On Greg Raven's site a few years ago. It's in there somewhere, but old news by now.

That's why I believe we should be a little more patient with folks seeking pro frame information. Too often Other TT vets (not Jack) smack down new members with stuff like "search". Yeah, they probably should, but with specs they can change or, more likely, old intel might be incorrect and someone has new intel that's more correct. Can't hurt to seek the latest info or re-confirm old intel.

(thanks Jack for that link...the 2012 Mercury info is interesting!...I use Dunlops but it was fascinating that my specs are close to Raymond's)
