Why are you refering to Pro Line as SP II? Typo or you were thinking of another string? I tested both and found PLII to be softer... but everything is subjective Cheers, Peter |

OMG...
As a fresh-strung stringbed PL II is actually softer..but it has the tendency to become stiffer over time, and faster than BLH. And looks like it doesn't match as good as TF BlackCode/ProSupex BigAce/Signum Pro BL Tornado with my frames/tensions/style of play...

How would you compare Genesis Magic to Hyperion?

VERY similar strings...allround 3rd gen copolys that offer a good blend of power, control, spin and feel...maybe the Genesis is slightly softer but it tends to lose tension faster..obviously IMHO

i'm trying the hyperion right now and find it superior to the pro line 2 in nearly every category.. unfortunately, i'm not a huge fan of kirschbaum strings.. not my cup of tea

I am currently giving PL2 a shot and my regular set up is a hybrid of PHT/Gut but I am looking for more power/pop without losing any control... so thats why I am giving PL2 a shot |
