has anyone removed the butt-cap on this racquet. i know the some head racquets you need to take off the whole grip to remove the butt-cap, is this true with the youtek? can i just ply it off? also, when i am putting weight in there do i need to put fishing weights with cotton or whatever, or can i just put some lead tape around the sides?

you can do whatever you want as long as it gets the lead inside or on the handle. i usually just add lead tape around the hand instead of inside. it saves me the trouble of taking the buttcap off.

If you have removed the cap, you can embed a steel washer in the blu tack for additional weight and save the cost of your lead tape. But the weight of the blu tack itself may be all you need.

Yes, I'm using 5g fishing weights on mines. Just be sure to make them very tight with cotton otherwise it will make the ball contact ackward.
