Sure.Only, the crying dosent affect my popularity and the very fact that I cried was because the crowd's support and love for me after the loss was simply overwhelming. So there's no question of humiliation .

Rafa is like Martina Navratilova. Likely one of the greatest ever, polite, humble, built like a man.. bulging biceps, and all that...just without the charm. Nothing wrong with that. Who wouldn't want to be such a great?

Sneak? You mean do it everytime you are serving? Yeah, that's being sneaky.Must be a favorite hobby. Gives a slight "brown and chunky" twist to your finger foods over there.

Oh stop trolling...it's not like they were against when they were playing fed..it seems to be against anybody..maybe they just don't find him charismatic? besides it's not like fan support means much, he wins with the crowd with him or against him.

Or it could be the more simple reason :

Nadal keeps beating Federer and you guys don't like that.

Nice stats. BTW if Federer wins this US Open, Roger will have 6 USO titles which would equal Nadal's TOTAL number of GS titles.

Wait...What exactly has Nadal won lately? He won Rome...That was in April. He lost in Madrid, FO, skipped his two grass events and then lost in Montreal and Cincy.

I also think that there is very little hatred of Nadal...That's a strong word. Crowds tend to get behind underdogs, hence the rooting against Nadal and the Williams'. For some reason Federer is well liked and cheered for by crowds everywhere...It must be because he's such an awful, arrogant, lucky guy who is talentless and can't beat any of the top players.

I think you have it wrong:

Nadal 6 Federer 15

Oversimplifications of arguments are fun!

There is no reason for any ripping on Federer or Nadal.
Those two are both class acts and good for the sport

Wasn't defining what a man is. Was drawing a parallel between Rafa and Martina.

Those second rate players were good enough to defeat Nadal (Blake, Youzhny, Gonzales, Ferrer, Soderling). Verdasco should also be on that list, too bad he decided to double-doublefault.

Hi mr beck. I would like to welcome you to the boards. Also i would like to commend your very interesting thread.
There is indeed a lot of hate for rafa. Its a sad reflection on fed fans, particularly the ones jumping on the libelous doping smear campaign.
To quote the song and film... I guess you could say that fed knows all there is to know about the crying game.
