Mutual Power machine, part 2

With only ~ $400 budget, I went ahead and gave Mutual Power a try. I ordered the Alpine 2000. It's a spring tension machine. I have nothing but good things to say about this product. It's affordable, very sturdy. No frills. I will never go back to swivel clamps again. Single action clamps are just so easy.
I am recommending this to any of you with a modest budget.
I also had a nightmare experience before with Eagnas, and my experience so far with MP is totally different. I do have a feeling that MP is a family-ran business. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. No comments yet on customer service though, since there have been no problems yet. But they did give me their home phone number if I had questions over the weekend. That's 1 point for their service.

Does it come with typical freebies like flying clamps, stringing tools, strings...etc. What is their return policy?

It looks like a good machine for a fantastic price.

It comes with 2 tennis clamps, 2 badminton clamps, several various frame retainers, and assembly tools. Not too much freebies like awls, cutters, or strings. These are pretty cheap anyway. They have a 5 year warranty.
The Eagnas website says this is a copy of their EAG-300 machine, so check out their site for the specifics. A previous post says that the factory that makes MP machines also makes machines for Silent Partner, which I haven't heard too many complaints of.

did u own other stringing machine before? If yes, how is it compared to them?

Mutual Power is a brand I ever heard of. The prices are outrageously low and most of them look alot similer to other models..."Alpine 2000-Prince Neos". Seems a bit risky if you ask me.

I thought it was a risk too, but I took it anyway. Before this I owned an Eagnas 220E, a portable electronic stringer with swivel clamps. Here's the comparison:
Price: about the same
Mounting: Much easier and faster on the Alpine 2000 due to the quick-release feature. My racquets would slip a bit on the Eagnas machine when pulling on the crosses; no problem with the Alpine 2000.
Clamps: single action gliding clamps is just so much easier, but I can't string my friend's racquet 'cause of the fan pattern strings.
Tensioner: I actually like using the crank better than the electronic. Consistent pull, so simple not much can go wrong. I had to return my electronic machine 2X in one month because it would just stop pulling/releasing. Can't imagine what can go wrong with a simple spring/crank system.
The portable electronic machine was actually bigger than what I expected it to be, so I just decided to get a standing machine. I have space in my study room anyway.
I haven't heard from others yet about their Mutual Power experience, but I'm satisfied so far about mine. It's only $379 !!!
One more thing, when I received my Eagnas machine it was greasy and looked old and used. The MP Alpine 2000 came neatly packed and each part was factory sealed and came out looking brand new and shiny.
If I could improve on the machine I would put wheels on the base, 'cause it's just so heavy.

I look all over their website and can't find anywhere mentioning 5-year warranty. Another thing I notice is they don't take credit card. That really sucks.

I'll keep you guys posted on the machine's performance. In the mean time I have to spend some time in the strings board because I've never strung natural gut before and I'm ready to experiment with hybrids.

How do they get cash? paypal?

I think someone should call them and pretend to be having problem with their machine and see how their CS is.
