I am still using Yonex RDiS 100 Mid.
Eversince i tried other people racquets from different brands, i concluded that Yonex is very underrated. Although i haven't try any Volkl player frame yet. Tried Powerbridge 8. Didn't like it. Kinda reminds me of my old BLX Pro Open. Tempted to try VCore Tour (89 or 97) or 95D. But cannot find anyone who have that racquet. Tried VCore 100S. Didn't like it. I am glad i stock up RDiS 100 Mid. This racquet is awesome.

Currently using a pair of rdis 200 mp's and really like them for their feel and spin I just wish they were a bit stiffer...
I really want to get a set of rdis 100 mp's but I can't find them anywhere... |

for all you Yonex RDiS 200's out there..
what's your level? i wanna order it but i'm afraid the heavier version might be too much for me (i'm a 4-4.5), age 39, started playing around 8yrs now... i need help deciding on regular vs lite version (cannot demo. have to take a chance here). thanks! |

It's a just a really easy frame to swing. If you go back to the thread dedicated to the RDiS 200, look at what Power Player most recently wrote. The frame supports all game styles, whether you're serving and volleying or having to grind out defensive points. Enough heft to drive a heavy ball, but not so much that you have to start your backswing 15 minutes ahead of time. Very, very versatile stick.
The reason I think the weight won't be an issue is I just came from a Wilson 6.1, which weighed 12.3. This frame feels considerably lighter, at only 11.7 (maybe closer to 12 ounces with an overgrip and dampener). So, even though it's only slightly lighter than the 6.1 on paper, it feels and swings a good deal easier.

Didn't get a response in the thread I started. Maybe this is the place for it:
I am curious how the new Ivanovic stick, the EZONE Xi 98 compares with her old one, the RQIS 1 Tour XL. I currently use the RQIS and really like it. Just wondering if, when I upgrade (and when these are dirt-cheap), the EZONE is the way to go.

I've been using the Yonex RDS002 Tour for many years and have no intention on switching anytime soon.

Never played with it, but going on aesthetics alone, it's one of my favorite Yonex racquets ever.

After more than a year with my RQiS tour i'm putting it down. Just can't get over the lack of easy power and the lack of free points. I do appreciatenthe lessons that stick taught me, like early preparations, taking big cuts and working angles. I will miss my favorite shot, the inside out backhand slice approach
Now back to the XL 95 version, but only temporary..... As back to searching again. 3 sticks now draw my interest, the cheap rdis 200, the xi 98, and the 95d. Anyone here can compare one from the other? The rdis 200 seem perfect, but scared with the 61 flex w/c was the same as my Tour, w/c i think was responsible for the low power. The xi98 address the flex issue, being closer to the XL 95. Thought i'd get away from severely tapered beams this time around, to open up my spin window. Plus its pricey. The 95d, which i heard was pretty powerful, is the heaviest of the three. Concerned about the lack of plow with the 317 sw. I like my sticks to the 330 range. Leading it up might make it too heavy, as i had oroblems with sticks heavier than 12 oz.

I tried leaving both RQiS 1 Tour and the XL 95 - somehow I kept coming back to the 2 frames.
The main difference I observed was switching the string set up from hybrid to full poly (Cyber Flash). The full poly set up offers more pop which add more pace and power to my shots. I do not need to hit every swing harder but focused more on consistency and control.
