I guess if Fed plays like his life depends on it, most of us would be very lucky to get 1 point in a set.

My hardest shot/serve into the opposite end of the court from him would still get returned for a winner.

Well any groundstroke he hits will be so heavy that even if i get a raqcuet on it, I won't be able to control it.

I would pee my pants and run around the court waving my shirt if I got a game off Federer.

"Yeah, sure".

How many points do you think you can take off him? A game perhaps?
Personally, I think I may be able to take him to a deuce or something.

What about you?
I am a decent 4.0+ and played an "open" level player who played #2 singles for a low-end D1 school. I won three points in a set that lasted 13 minutes and the only points were from his errors. It would be the same with Fed and I probably would loose in half that time. I suspect the D1 guy I played would probably last 13 minutes against him and get 3 points.

There is a reason he is the GOAT.

Everyone that thinks that could take a game, or even make a game competitive really, is insane (except maybe the D1 guy).

I would be so happy if I won a point. My serve would be the biggest joke for Federer to return, and there is no way that I could return his serve. My only chance would be if he double faulted.

I would probably get golden setted by Federer. The main recreational players(non D1 level or high ranked juniors) who stand the best chance are the monster servers. Even though Federer makes a living hitting insane returns against great servers like Roddick, a big server has a better chance than a recreational pusher. The pusher does not have the topspin of Nadal or the speed of a Nadal or a Murray

Do you have an ATP ranking? Because if you dont you would get double bagelled by any challenger player and most futures players.

I can see that you are still acting as a new member in some aspects.
Every one knows that any decent 3.5 TW forum member can give fits to Federer. Federer would struggle to make points against a TW forum 4.0 player.

There is a reason why ATP is ranked couple of notches below TW forum.

Even if you are a new comer into this forum, all you need is to read a bunch of threads and you know exactly how to play Federer (Just hit to his backhand, be aggressive, hit to his forehand, S^V, stay at baseline, etc etc)

Coming to your original question, i am not sure if i want to play Federer and be in a NO WIN scenario. Imagine. If I win, it is expected. If Federer some how wins, it is considered sensational.

phew...these ATP top pros.. they get all the breaks.

What if you started the match 6-0 5-0 40-0 ?? Do you think you can take Fed out and beat him...???? you only need one point.......Just to make it interesting,,,, in case he comes back in that last game,,,,,,lets say, you will have 40-0 start in Every game from that point on.
CAN YOU TAKE FED OUT ?????????

I might win 3-4 points in a set at most. The only reason I might win a point would be:

Very lucky shot

OR

Unforced error

(All on his double-faults, of course. )
Exactly what I was thinking.

was it on clay? Were you left-handed wearing a bandana?
