Default Best matches of the decade

Too many to make a poll. Mine would be :

Men : Wimbledon 2008 Federer & Nadal
Women : Wimbledon 2005 Davenport & V.Williams

Rome 2006 final, way better than all the other overhyped Federer/Nadal matches.

Extraordinary match!
Agassi & Safin at the Australian Open in 2004 was amazing too.

Absolutely, that was some brutal hitting by both.

Too bad Safin was gassed after that match, the final against Federer could've been a classic.

Any reason not to include 2009 Wimbledon Final: Roddick - Federer?

I didn't saw the 2000 RG final, but the rest of your list is really solid, except for RG 2004.

Sure that match had a lot of drama, but the quality of play wasn't high at all.

Clay it is a tie between Nadal v. Coria 05 rome or Nadal v. Federer 06 Rome.

Grass well go ahead and go nuts but Rafter vs. Goran 01 Wimbledon..people have seem to forgotten how amazing that match was.

Hardcourts
Safin v. Fed AO 05
Fed v. Agassi US 04 (their 5 set QF)
Agassi v. Blake US 05
Roddick v. Ayanoui AO 03.

A few of my favorites include...

1. Guga vs. Mirnyi 2001 U.S. Open: A little biased here since Guga's my favorite player of all time, but nevertheless a dramatic comeback victory for him.

2. Invanisevic vs. Rafter 2001 Wimbledon: Unbelievable atmosphere from the crowd. Great drama.

3. Nadal vs. Federer 2008 Wimbledon: Not sure what to say about this match that hasn't already been said. Incredible.
