Is there a reason the pro's always wear white crew socks? Why don't they wear shorter socks (i.e. quarter)? Is it a fashion thing or for sweat? I think it looks funny to wear black shoes and white socks. Federer (Agassi in the past) would wear black socks with black shoes, which looked intimidating and cool. Maybe the players don't care to match colors and that most socks ARE white...but I would.

I think this thread might be in the wrong place :3
There's a rather long thread here regarding the length of socks.... http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=262779 Regarding colour, I guess maybe the theory is that white keeps you cooler.
