i want to put these with t shirts for a more casual look even with like black jeans, so what color shirts would each go good with?

Id stick with the collared shirts like in any picture you see the sweater vests in. I am not a fan of them but I will probably grab one or two for special occasions.

I cannot think of any "special" occasion that calls for a sweater vest.

I have 1 merino wool sweater vest. I mainly wear it underneath a blazer if its a little cool out but not enough to need to bother with a coat.

I think it can be pulled off under a sport coat or blazer and possibly in cold conditions on a tennis court if the rest of your outfit is retro and matches. I hope you are skinny. They don't look as good on uh portly fellows.

Lol which is why I dont have one at this moment and at the very foreseeable future. Maybe when I am married and have to go visit the wifes parents house or something.
