Default Kick Serve Question!

Hello everyone, I have a few questions on the kick serve.'

When I throw the ball I i know I want to throw it directly above me but do I want to throw more to my left side or right side?

Do I hit the ball from the bottom left side or bottom right side of the ball?

Toss the ball more to your left and aim for the bottom left side of the ball. Of course, you aren't actually hitting the bottom left, but it helps to get the correct swing path down.

I actually throw the ball in front of me and lean into the court on my kick serve. I get pace, I get spin, I get safety, I get angles; it's actually a harder stroke for me if I try to throw the ball behind my head and attempt those loopy high kickers that drop from 6 feet above the net.

in fact, hit the ball so you can put topspin+left sidespin on hit.

where you hit the ball depends on if you want to have more or less pace, or more or less kick. but the movement should be kinda curvy from left to right to left......

go see fuzzyyellowballs vids for a better idea

If youre a righty, you want to throw it above you head and more to your left, so that you'll naturally be moving into the court on contact. This ball position really allows one to brush up the back of the ball for that kick.

A ball is a sphere, it doesn't have sides.

A cube on the other hand has sides. Check it out:

Sphere-

See, no sides.

Cube-

See, it has sides.

Hope this helps.
