For those who do not understand what makes Hingis so different, here you go. She uses the breadth and depth of the court better than anyone, with a court sense that is mystic. She is truly creative a la MacEnroe. Of course lots of those droppers she hit did NOT go where she intended or have the devastating impact this reel suggests. Often the low percentage play that intrigued, or surprised, later failed. Still I remain a great admirer. She picked the oddest times to use her touch. It worked when I thought no coach would dare recomend it. Wish they would have included more of her severly angled forehand and backhands. Another huge element in her baseline game. She was a gutsier player in her own way than the bashers. Thank- you for posting this. my kind of tennis!
