Default TW Private Label Natural Gut

With the popularity of Gaucho and Global natural guts on these forums I started to wonder this. As popular as the TW private label leather grips have become why not have TW find a good supplier of an economical Private Label natural gut? I think it would be hugely popular.

Yes, nice idea. I for one will probably be buying a lot if they do get this!

I would totally go for this. The one thing lacking with both global gut and gaucho gut is great customers service, something which TW currently has in spades. If TW keeps a large stock of these on hand, price them under $20, and make sure that they don't sell any lemons, I'd be first in a long line to pick these up.

Certainly a great idea but problem is if TW will sell the same as gaucho or global or even something similar, then TW will need to markup the gut strings to make a profit. So perhaps not a good thing for them considering the same people can buy them directly for cheaper.

TW basically already has had their own racquets if you count the reissued Donnay racquets they designed.

Gaucho appears to only be a distributor similar to what TW could work out. I mean look at what they pulled of with the leather grips. Gut is one of the very few things I have been going outside of TW to buy so to see them running their own private label series of NG would be super.

TW does have their own racquet.//...

the Donnay Pro One

especially designed by TW and us

of course they used another manufacturer..

TW should have tried and get Donnay to put the TW logo on the racquet somehow

Or just move Indian Wells up to San Luis Obispo and have a 1000 level Masters event!
