How long do most synthetic guts last tension-wise? I was a big fan of the Pro Supex Spiral Flex but I felt that it went dead in about 2-3 weeks. Is this normal for synthetic gut strings? I was hoping I could possibly get a couple months. I am not a string breaker. I usually use Wilson NXT 16 but was going for these for the cost.

Try out natural gut since you dont break strings and you are looking for strings that wont go dead for quite some time.

If you play 2-3 time a week, then 4-6 weeks would be average before significant loss in tension or playability.

This has been my experience as well. I only play two or three times a week and, assuming I don't break my strings, the tension loss becomes a problem with the playability of the strings around the 4 to 5 week mark.
