I received an e-mail, purporting to be from TW, inviting me to demo a racket and post feedback. I'm supposed to provide my mailing address so they can send me the racket.
Is this legit?

Cindy, here's a link from the "Racquets" forum....according to Jason from TW it is legit......thread contains some discussion, a lot of other posts.....from others who were chosen....from others who were not.
BTW - if you're on board, I'd love to hear your take on the frame.....

I never thought I'd see the day when Cindysphinx used the term, "legit."
Edit: I never thought I'd see the day when VGP used the term, "legit." |

When I try to reply to the e-mail, I get an error message: "Authentication is required blah blah blah."
Now what? Vermillion, I'm all about the modern day slang, doncha know. I was channeling MC Hammer's "Too Legit To Quit." Cindy -- hoping that song wasn't before Vermillion's time

I wonder how TW picked out who to use for the playtesting?

I don't believe that song is before my time. It's just that I never listened to that type of music back then. (or now).
Legit isn't a word I admire... But if Cindysphinx uses it, then it might become acceptable. |
