I have used the search and found the most recent topic dated more than a year ago 2011.
Hopefully there are some changes in this area an hope you can help. Looking for a affordable (compact) High Definition High Speed camera. In your opinion which one is the best buy nowadays? And also what kind of software to use with it? (didn't look that up just popped into me..) Thanks

Recent high speed video thread,
http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=405536 Forget the high speed HD video camera unless cost is not important. Kinovea is a free software that is very capable. I have a thread in the Tennis Tips/Instruction Forum. Search Kinovea there. High Speed Video Camera Considerations: http://www.kinovea.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?id=435 dpreview Casio Talk Forum In my opinion, because it has full MANUAL shutter speed control get a new or used Casio Ex FH100 and use Kinovea. I saw some new FH100s from a Japanese supplier as mentioned in the other thread but I don't know the retailer. They will sell out quickly. Buyer beware... I posted a small review of the Casio Exilim Zr-100 when I got it:
http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=398152 I think it's a great piece of equipment, and not too expensive. |
