He should try to get a deal with the C9 line of athletic clothing from Target, he did after-all wear that at the 2006 US Open semis.

he got it because his dad died and because he was always a key american player. I gaurentee you that more people know of Blake than Davydenko. Blake is an american icon and even a global tennis icon, Davydenko is boring player that has a good record and some titles. In the long run, Davydenko won't be remembered.

icon?
Tiger Woods despite him being a man w/hore is an icon
Federer is an icon
Sampras,Borg,Agassi despite his chrystal meth;Laver
Phelps despite being a junkie
Bolt are all icons!

no MS for Blake
no slam semis for blake
no slam win for Blake
brother Blake can't even win off hard courts
Blake's DC win was a fluke and he knows it

maybe Blake is paying your rent and that might be why you are talking out of your backside but please icon and blake should NEVER EVER be in the same sentence.
When he surpasses Federer's 15 major record;then hit me upwait we know that this will NEVER happen so it's all good

I like him to sign with Nike myself! Prince would be a fool not to sign him back! He doing great with a Prince racket that is not a paint job too!

Of course, he is in the top 5 and is an international player too! He not pretty but a very solid and interesting player to watch. I find him more interesting then a Federer too!

He should sign with Sergio Tacchini imo, then they could have like the adidas "Edge" clothing for Djokovic and like a Davydenko line of clothing..

Honestly I think TW should sponsor Davydenko. He could wear whatever shirt/shorts with just the TW logo.

Would be great advertising, especially now that they have TW Europe. Davy's appeal is probably mostly with hardcore players/fans, the type who would good customers.

Davy may get a great offer from a big co like Nike or adidas so TW should make a move. Look into it guys!

Any latest news on whether Davydenko has found a new sponsor? Google doesn't seem to be coming up with anything new

Adidas does not have enough money to get him. They spent it all on Murray.

But they've lost Baghdatis and the Brian Bros. They need another big name and Davydenko is just that.
