What exactly is the ITF senior's circuit? Are the players considered professionals as is the case with the golf senior tour? Or is it more like the junior's circuit? I assumed it was more or less competitive recreational tennis, but then I saw that there are tournaments on 6 continents in 47 countries and it seems like a pretty big deal.

Mainly teaching pros and very good amateurs.
age NTRP 35's 6.0 55 5.5 65 4.5 70+ 4.0 80+ 3.5-4.0 I've played 55+ top 20 who plays and wins open rds, craved me up s+v style. Pretty competitive some of these international seniors.

The ATP player Werner Eschauer played in his first ATP final a couple of years ago, and then about 2 years later was playing on the over 35's
