I am kind of twist the back of my left knee when I run for a drop shot. Ironically it is the only running I did that night as it was a such boring match.
I can walk and feel a little pain. What stretch I can do before I see a Chiropractor on Monday? BTW, what do you call "back of knee"?

I wouldn't stretch it. I would rest it and ice it and take Advil if it is swelling or too painful.

Good advice, Cindy ~ I seem to too eager to stretch... always ice first.

Good luck.
If I can ask, why a chiropractor? I've never seen one (I always run to the orthopedic surgeon).

The entire knee region is called the popliteal area. Back of knee is also called popliteal fossa.

OP was asking about the back of the knee...that's why I included popliteal fossa. The depressed area in the back of the knee is...the back of the knee.

Bottome line: Follow Cindy's advice of REST until the pain subsides, ice it as well, and hopefully if your chiropractor is worried about anything more than a "minor" strain, he will recommend an orthopod. (Even if he doesn't, and the pain is persisting, you should seek one out.) |

I don't know any orthopedics. I see my chiropractor for regular maintenance though I have a weak low back mainly from improper sitting position. This chiropractor applies Active Release Technique (ART) which is used in the states for treating Olympic athletes and I think ART is effective and makes sense.

I didn't warm up properly and lost my focus due to the motionless game. That’s how injuries occurred. I was 90% recovered today and I practiced some rally tonight. I felt fine as long as I didn’t play games.

That's an interesting note on lost focus and injuries. Although I have regularly beaten Borg, Sampras, Federer and Laver at Wimbeldon to gain the trophy, there is no extant picture of the five of us together, as it has only been in my dreams. |

In Canada, we can't see an orthopedic surgeon directly. We need to see a family physician first and get a referral letter then see a specialist.
