IMO Federer would have at least taken a set and not have been broken quite easily if he mixed it up more often with S&V instead of when he needed to.
Federer is 9 inches shorter, but idk, it may have been closer.

First he starts losing the finals, then the semifinals. He will now not make semis anymore. Why suffer like this?
At least he made the semis of WTF, unlike Nadal.

Stop writing Federer off until the day he stops making slam semis.

Federer will likely win another Slam, and I want him to, but I doubt he'll dominate much longer.

"is still causing him injuries..." He's had no injuries for his entire career besides minor ailments and minor pains. He's probably the most fortunate player not to have missed much court time because he plays so effortlessly. If he played like Nadal i'm sure his knees would be blown out by now.

No one remembers those who makes slam semis a few years down the road. It's an impressive stat but useless/meaningless.

Yeah, the stat... but not specific players at specific tournaments.

Who made the semis of Wimbledon in 1997? 99% of us don't remember and don't care.

Fed makes his living off of his ability to flick that wrist. If he felt that it would inhibit him in the least, I doubt he would have done it.

It was the backhand that was off. Anyone know what that would mean?

I found this post very strange since it is Doha Qatar we're talking about after all.So I searched and the weather was 20-25.That's anything but cold.

I dont know then.Roger said it was pretty cold yesterday and even Mirka was dressed in relatively warm clothes.I've also personally experienced that regions in or around desert regions can be incredibly cold at night.
