JEPAAAAAAA
I'm the second member!!! Since 1month I am playing with this racket but I am struggling finding a good string/stringsetup.

I've tried:
- Full bed of Black Code 1.28, 25kg.That only works for 2 hours, after that the string goes dead. 26kg is too much, getting nothing out of the racket.
- Full bed of Black Code 1.24. 25kg. That is my current setup. I like that, it doesnt lose as much of tension and has a much better feel.
- Full bed of X-One Biphase 17 and TGV 1.35 , 24kg. DO NOT USE these strings in that racket. These strings are very comfy but there is no power, no control in combination with the PSTGT.
- Full bed MSV HEX 1.23, 25kg. Just played this setup today. Felt really great.Good power, spin and control. Seems to fly a bit when not hitting it in the sweetspot but : possible new favorite string!
- Still got a sample of the MSV HEX 1.18, Sign Pro Poly Plasma 1.23 and 1.18.

Any other setups that are definetly worth trying?

Cheers !!

I was looking at this frame the other day at the proshop and comparing it to the Pure Storm, the Pure Storm Tour seemed to have more of a boxy profile which i like. Can you guys compare to other sticks I have used, is it similar to:
Radical MP and Pro, Kblade98, K95, Prestige MP and Pro. Like which is it most similar to but how it differs. Looking for power and spin level and swingwt comparisons. Thanks.

of the above racquets, i used to play with the migrogel prestige pro.

i can tell you that PST is much more stable than the pro.

it's as solid as the best mids (like the prestige mid) imo....

JT, Im sorry. I can't compare with any of those rackets. I used to play with Pure Drives all the way ( with some Prince testers in between), followed by the APDC for 3 years. All I can say about the racket in comparisation to the APDC is that is much softer! ( my ellbowbow loves my for that) and that it is much more stabile. VERY noticable on 1HBH and volleys. Only difference is, you really have to work your legs to be good behind the ball to hit'em in the sweet spot. The racket makes you a better player.

Aphex : MSV HEX 1.10? That is a really thin gauge! You must break it like every 2 hours?

I'm not a club member for this racquet , but thought I'd post anyway. Has anyone compared this racquet against the Aeropro Drive? I'm looking for a slightly lighter stick, and this one could be the one.

i just gave a short comparisation with the APDC Zaphood. I think you are mixing the PSTGT with the PSGT. The tour version is heavier than the APDC. I did not play with the PSGT so I cannot compare

yeah, i couldn't either--it's my first ever babolat, i was allergic to them...

in terms of stiffness, i'd say it's in MG prstige pro territory...

nope, not really, i'm not much of a string breaker---i cut them out after i feel them dying...

Yes you are absolutely right, my bad. The PSTGT is actually pretty much heavier than the PSGT, 343g vs. 312g.

Hope someone has had the chance to compare...

Thanks anyway.

I've gone for the GT versions. Was tempted by the cheaper price of the old ones but think I'll be happier with these. Any advice for great string jobs?

Or 25kg BlackCode 1.24 or MSV HEX 1.23 at 25kg

No problem man. I did play with the Non GT version of the regular storm last year. Kinda remembered putting it down after 5 shots, really did not like it. Didn't liked it at all. Too light, too little mass and a too tiny sweet spot.
What I can remember Zap. Been a while.
