Hit again tonight with the racquet. Had a better outing. More loop, pretty solid, and was getting that "explosion" off the court for serves. I still wish it had more power and felt more "solid". If it had those two things I think it would be perfect. Not sure I will be picking one up. Might just stick with the APD and not even give the 200 a long term test.

I agree. Great video and I even had no clue what was being said. Also, I am assuming the gentleman being interviewed played on tour before. He was dang solid. Am I right?

It was just a fun racquet to serve with. If you're a big kick-server, this racquet could be a match made in heaven for you, the flex and open string pattern just shred the ball

Yeah, the Ps me off. TW rep told me over the phone no one has the racquets, I asked her "But, people are saying they got the demos from TW" and she said she didn't have any stock... blah blah blah. Still super furious about TW sending out demos but not sending out something I paid for that they have just sitting there. *sigh*

Did you ever play with the RDX 500? Comparison?

If I sent the racquet back tomorrow, I couldn't buy it either. And demoing is never the same thing as buying at all. You will still be one of the first to own one (in just a few days too), and won't have to worry about sending it back or the fact that's essentially a borrowed racquet. You still got it better than us. Just saying.

Just got back from hitting with my coach with it. Wow! A joy from the baseline. It had really solid pop, I was surprised with the ball speed that I could rip the ball at. The spin was massive, and I could hit good loopy rally balls to stay in the point, even when deep out of the court and even when off-balanced. I also could flatten the trajectory and hit really penetrating, skiddy shots for winners at will. My forehand consistency was tremendously better with this racquet than my Speed Pro, yet I was maintaining the same, if not more, level of power with the RDiS 200. The flexy feeling of the racquet is really sweet. I was hitting heavy balls with my one-handed backhand, I was hitting some roaring passing shots against my coach with it, as I really like the directional control with this racquet. This racquet shines with wide angle shots, the ball just kicks away. This was a racquet that I had full confidence in, and I knew that any mistake I made was my fault from footwork/balance or mechanics.. Like I said, the spin potential with this is massive, and the power was pretty dang good for flexy racquet measured at 61.
On short balls, I could put the balls away with ease, and my control on approach shots was better than my Speed Pro, was I could put balls on the line with lots of spin While it doesn't have that superb knifing feeling that the K90 has on slice, I thought the RDiS was very proficient on the backhand slice, and whenever I did float it, it was always deep within 2-3 feet of the baseline. The RDiS 200 was really good on serve returns, as I could smack back deep, flat returns, and the comfort level was once again good. I could chip the return back or hit away with confidence, the depth noticeably standing out. At the net, depth on volleys was good. The flexy, control/comfort orientated feel was enjoyable for me when hitting volleys, and the flex allowed for easier drop volleys. Overheads were smacked away. I'm going to go hit with it either later tonight or tomorrow, and this time I plan to add some lead at 3 and 9 (I'm not sure I would put any at 12, as the spin potential is sufficient enough already) to help make my forehand a little more heavier shot, and put a bit more weight in the head. If I had my choice, I would probably put my string (BB Rough) in to deaden the string bed just a tad bit, but go down 1 or 2 pounds then what this Yonex Synthetic is strung at (if I were to guess, I'd say around 55ish). I wonder whether I would keep my hybrid of BB Rough mains/NRG2 crosses with this racquet (I do wanna try it the other way around though), or full poly. Hm. Due to the flex, I would definetely call it a arm friendly racquet. I did shank the ball on the shaft today, and it sent a jolting feeling down my arm which kinda freaked me out, however it disappeared in 5 seconds and never had any more problems the rest of the lesson with it. So far, it's probable that I'll switch, especially if my next session with it is the same or better with some lead tape at 3 and 9 for some more heaviness. The flex it has just feels too good. The racquet came with it's base grip wrapped with the little ridges on it, which is kinda annoying, instead of a smooth feeling, but I can fix that.. Is this how Yonex usually wraps their racquets? And that is my review. Phew.

^Thanks for the review, one of the few positive reviews so far. Have you played with any other Yonex rackets before so you could compare it to say the RDIS100 MP. Actually, it seems this may be your first Yonex demo since you asked if that is how all the grips are from Yonex. I don't remember the grips having any ridges, but their main grips were always horrible IMO.

I should also mention that the RDiS 200 feels heavier than 11.7 ounces. It felt noticeably heavier that the BLX 95, which I'm also demoing.

for me felt fairly stable on everything. When I did hit oft-center I didn't really even notice it but you can tell with how the ball travels. When I tried using my legs to generate more power I started shaking for a few rallies. For most people not a racquet that you are going to pick up and start hitting great but it is a nice racquet let me be clear on that. Definitely a racquet to tinker around with the strings as people have mentioned. From first impressions I'd say I like the 100 MP better but that could change. This is probably more arm friendly.

It's a pretty stable racquet. Pretty healthy size sweetspot too. The reason I'm adding lead at 3 and 9 is not so much for stability as to help make shots a little bit heavier.
