Does anyone know her racket and its specs? Thanks in advance.

According to Yonex, an RDSi 300 Midplus
http://www.yonex.com/tennis/advisory...zheng_jie.html

Wouldn't be surprised if it's been leaded up a little? Her compact strokes look like she tries to meet the ball early and let the weight of the racquet do some work.

Ok thanks. The TW link says the strung weight is 11.1oz. I wonder if she needs to add at least 1oz of lead to it.

In the pictures I have of her, she seems to have some added weight at the 11:00 - 1:00 position on her RDiS 300.

Could you post? I'm curious to see about how much lead she has slapped on.

Here you go. I think she puts the lead only on one side, and at the top. The black band on the underside of the racquet head is part of the RDiS 300 cosmetics, in case you are wondering.

So she's put about 5 inches of lead on all four sides at 11 & 2 so that's about 10g in the head then.

Thanks for the pictures!!

It could be more than 1 layer of lead so it could be more than 10g. I think if she really is using this tweener than she's gonna add 1 oz or more which is 28g to the racket, maybe half on the top and then half in the handle...

At her WTA ranking I wonder if she have all her rackets customized by some professional agency. Or maybe both she and Li Na just have their rackets done by their own team?

Cool

It's 4 X 1/4" lead at 12:00, total of 4 grams. She plays with a stock
4 1/4 grip and just adds 4 grams of lead. Wilson poly mains @ 54lbs and Yonex natural gut cross @ 55lbs with prestretch.

Racquet Maestro, what is your source for this? The poly sounds right -- I remember reading somewhere (I wish I could remember where, but I have read a lot about her and cannot recall exactly) that she used poly. It would be nice for a source for what you have posted. If you could put it up, I'd appreciate it.
I've written her for her racquet specs, and she responded to my letter, but did not include the specs.

I work with Yonex player services, I'm the person that customizes her racquets and strings them up at all the slams.

Has anybody here played with the racket stock? It seems too light to my taste but seems like a good frame to customize with. Anyone has hit with it?
