Likely to be the same WIlson 90 he used in Oz. No contract. No stencil there.

So, maybe Blake's agent advised a very common move: to black it out until Wilson kicks in a deal for him.

LOL...or maybe he likes the stick but cannot stnd the sight of the red, black and zebra stripe cosmetics, hahah.

He was using a 90? That doesn't add up... And the one in that picture definitely isn't a 90

I know. I assumed it was a 95 like his Tyger, his WIlson and his Dunlops....but I heard from a Dunlop rep that he switched to the BLX 90 -- the one with Roger's signature on it. Of course...no proof or anything. I'm just going on conjecture.

Also, I did not count the strings, but this one looks like it has 18 mains. ANyone? Anyone?

It's either a Kennex Black Ace or Redondo. He was encouraged to try it and switch by Jay Berger.

Well he was definitely using a 90, or Wilson made a custom racquet just for him (unlikely)

And I agree - looks like an 18X20 to me...

Yes, Blake had been using the Wilson BLX 6.1 Tour 90 since the beginning of 2010. He was even still using them in Rotterdam.

The new black one does look like an 18x20 ... like the old Dunlop ag 200.
Guys, thanks for the clarification. Two totally different sticks.
vsbabolat, thanks for posting those closeups of the 90...16 mains on that one for sure.

SO much for my theory about blacking out the WIlsons for contract negotiations.

Maybe it's a new one....maybe an old one. Keep us posted.

It is probably (guessing) his old dunlop because I cannot see any PWS's on the blakced out stick.

That's what I was thinking,
JB is a sponsorship nightmare.
If I was FILA I would drop him, The FILA TR thing is a disaster.

Agree. FILA must of known Blake's best days were long gone when they signed him (reason why Nike dropped him). What makes it more surprising is how they made him his own line which i'm pretty sure hasn't done very well. Money wasted big time by FILA.
