According to the ATP site, Rafa is guaranteed year end #1. It will be his second year end at #1 and his 6th consecutive year end in top 2.

I've just seen on Skysports News, Nadal getting mobbed by adoring fans when he arrived back at Palma airport. Truly the people's champion.

That's an awful list. Agassi shouldn't be above McEnroe and Lendl, Rafa shouldn't be above Borg and Lendl.

Thank you for this quote, Babbette. I don't have time to spend on this forum right now (it enables me to avoid reading all the ******** of some threads some threads, I guess, this is not so bad ), but Nalby's words really make me laugh. That's how I see Rafa indeed.

Toni Nadal has said before that nadal in the way he plays is more like connors than anyone else.

Thanks Meg. He says that somehow he enjoys his victories even more after having a difficult year while in 2008, it was a new feeling. He also says that he's not the best spanish sportsman of the history because you can't compare.

Thanks! That's interesting about comparing 2008 victories to 2010 victories. But it really must be unreal to win all this after people wrote you off pretty much, and people were wondering if you'd even come back.

Yeah, he had to say "I'm not finished yet" several times last year. Sweet revenge.

Bolo, thanks for these articles.
Career grand slam at 24, the vamosinator delivers time and time again... and he is all kinds of awesome. What a player. What an amazing achievement.
Hope he stays healthy for a lot more years by sticking to his aggressive game and a smart schedule. That serve.... VAMOS!!!

He was already shy before that and the question didn't change it, of course. He did well in this show. He was adorable. But this is hardly a surprise, no?

Thanks, it's interesting. Too bad that the guy chose 2 different angles. The most recent match he chose is also a match from Miami. It would have made more sense with a USO match. Anyway, Rafa has always worked on his serve and it changed along the years. When we watch an old match from 2004/2005, we realize how much his serve has improved.
