Babbette, why do you worry girl? The last time Rafa went on an off court steamy sex stunt was just before winning 3 consecutive masters and 3 consecutive slams. And you're still scared it might affect his tennis NEGATIVELY?
I say all this sexy stuff stimulates him: we're on for another amazing Rafa streak, vamos!
Okay, I will give you "sexy looking." It was the Shakira video that made me see Rafa in a whole new light!

Now if only he could hit as hard in "real" matches, as he does in practice..
Sorry, I don't mean to pry but are you a guy? By "better looking", I didn't mean "huge" lol, more along the lines of attractive, well proportioned...
(maybe that's what you mean too actually? Sorry if I misinterpreted your post)

I think it's good he's shaking off some stereotypes about the "shy island boy",
not that there is anything wrong with that but it seems he has more to offer and why not?

ETA: I don't see anything cheap about those pics BTW, they're artistically high quality, classier than DB and CR's ones and very aesthetically pleasing, (that is if you have any interest in the male body of course)
I certainly agree that they are not cheap looking. Nor are they as creepy as the CR ones. those are just BAD. He looks super hot, but I think very standard male Armani model hot. I think his face has been photoshopped so much, that it only just sorta resembles him. Plus, in the jeans, his butt is WAY better than it looks in that pic. It looks toned down there. What I do like it that they have left his body close to what it's like. They haven't given ridiculous amounts of definition to his abs. Touched up for sure, but subtle. Which is refreshing!

Also agree babs, no need to worry tennis always comes first, no? He's about to make history, screw the haters!

I don't think his face has been photoshopped. I just think the black and white, lighting, angles (and surely make-up + hair style as well) remodels/restructures his face in a way we're not used to. But that's what's fun about film or photography, it can change the way a person looks, play around with appearances. It's kind of fun, who says you always have to look the same? I don't think they wanted to go for boyish, they went for something more manly. I'm not against it, it's different but interesting.
Rafa's body is a masterpiece (nuf said ). Obviously no need for the oil and other artificial devices they piled up on CR and DB!!

Rafa is honest about not being the favorite. I think some people have never played sport at a competitive level and don't realize that most high ranked athletes don't consider themselves favorite deep down inside, even if they say they are favorite. Athletes are paranoid about their opponent, and that's the key to not taking anyone for granted. Rafa is one of the more honest athletes, so he admits he doesn't feel like the favorite.

Megan Fox kind of ruins the campaign with her silly tattoos, she really needs to get that looked at for removal.

VERY glad for the lack of oil. It gives it a matte finish which is nice. I think they "fixed" up his nose. I also feel the cheeks look a bit fuller. But you know what? It could just be light and angeling like you said. He looks hot, but dirty, sweaty, and looks like he means business, on court Rafa, is the best kind for me. haha. I'm glad you like em though, and hope you managed to get some sleep in last night

Lol thanks Meg. I managed to get a few hours in! I'm excited about the third round match now. I wish there was a way to make time go faster...

From what I saw of him, the real Rafa doesn't need all this artifice. He is great the way he looks naturally

Rafa, if you were stuck on a desert island, what three things would you like to take with you?
Qing Qing, email

Never thought about that, I just don't think it is going to happen so....

Roger Federer has been criticised as a cry baby after winning at Melbourne Park. What do you think of his tears?
Bill Boss, Brisbane

I don't think people should criticise. It is not healthy, doesn't take you anywhere. Roger is a great guy and doesn't deserve to be criticised.

Well there you have it.

I used it all the time during the semifinal and final matches in the World Cup, whenever my commentators/roommates said something jinxy.

Spain won so it must have worked...

I heard there was an octopus at the World Cup that predicted all of Germany's matches correctly and also the Spain win he predicted. He proved that jinx doesn't exist.

Yeah, that was Paul, the octopus. For the 2014 Soccer World Cup there will be Klaus, the cockroach.
