Default Amazing Federer Grand Slam Achievements that get overlooked

Everyone talks about the 16 slams, 23 straight Slam semis and 18 of 19 finals. But his utter dominance at non clay Slams often get overlooked. Consider these streaks:

A. Won 11 of 12 non clay Grand Slams (2004-2007, won all but the 2005 Australian Open. That's four years and winning all but one non clay Slam!)

B. Won 8 consecutive non clay Grand Slams (05 W-07 USO)

C. Went 12-0 in his first 12 non clay Grand Slam finals.

D. From 2004-present, has made the finals of 17 of 19 non clay Slam finals.

E. From 2004-2007, won 7 of 8 hardcourt Slams.

F. From 2004-present, has won 14 of 19 non clay Slams.

Those numbers are sick!

There's too many "non-clay" slam conditions attached to each of these accomplishments. I think that's the reason why noone cares for them. Can't imagine people caring too much for achievemnts with certain conditions accompanying them

Have to agree. That "clay slam" is still a major, and either the second or third most prestigious Slam title depending on who you ask.

most realize how dominate he is off of clay hence why most consider him to be the best hardcourt player all time and up there on the best grass court player of all time.

If that were truly the case, nobody would ever discuss the King of Grass, or for that matter the King of Clay, since both terms would have "certain conditions" accompanying them. Wherever you rank clay, the fact still remains those are pretty impressive numbers on any single, dual or triple surface(s) - and whoever claims those numbers would have to be considered dominant with a capital "D"

He's dominant on clay. He's pretty much reached the finals 4-5 times and has won it once. All other GOAT contenders(Sampras) have only reached the 4th round at the FO.
