So I have been playing tennis and baseball for 30 years my elbow was killing me. Everybody on this board said oh it's due to bad technique. I had surgery and my frayed tendons was the cause of my pain. Many players with great strokes get tennis elbow it's a over use injury. can bad technique cause you problems yes. At the end of the day there may be many reasons why people get injuries.

I'm still going to say that tennis elbow is mainly the result of bad technique (arm swinging), especially in the case of amateurs. If you can create "easy power" you won't really have to worry about tennis elbow. Once you get tennis elbow, good luck getting rid of it completely. Ain't gonna happen.

Try using Penetrex Cream. I am a Tennis elbow sufferer and have to say was a little skeptical of the product but after about two weeks of using it 3-4 times a day my elbow is feeling so much better. Actually hit without my brace on for a little bit the other day which I havent been able to do in about a year.

Generalizations do not apply for every single one, even if guidelines help the majority. I hope you are well. |

this is the first time i have had TE this bad. if i over do the tennis even with an elbow brace, the arm still hurts. some people say it will heal completely but i am not sure that is going to happen. i am begining to think that the arm will never be the same again.

People forget that their other physical activities also predispose them. My only bout of TE started after a 4 hour bike ride, during which I was in the risky position of squeezing the handlebars with my elbow bent. The combination of tennis and something like biking doubtless increases one's risk.

I had some TE problems, cleaned up my form and now three years later even with more hitting than ever, no problems. I'd say form might not be the only cause, but it sure plays a major factor.

I had recurring tennis elbow issues till I switched from double bend in the forehand to straight arm. Haven't felt tennis elbow since then
