^Reebock. I get a lot of compliments on it. Purple is our team color.

First, AngleQueen, did you get the strappy top? That thing would need one heck of a bra in it for me to consider it. I love unusual strap designs, though, so I'm wondering how it worked out.

OK. Here's something you don't see every day:

Boy, I dunno. Sleeves. I've never worn sleeves in a tennis dress. But I love the idea of a sleeve. Then the dress could be worn all year and wouldn't look so silly when it's 20 degrees outside the bubble.

But wouldn't the sleeve be really constricting when you raise your arms?
Sorry, Cindy, I usually like the dresses you pick, but that is way too frumpy!

Yeah, you're right. I should be able to do better.

Gotta just be patient.

You can bet I will be watching for it to debut at that discount retailer where I found the other Sharapova dress . . . .

I like,,,,Very nice

I think I had better order a medium before the rest of you do!

Wish I had seen this one when it was on sale

That one was something like $135. Ouch.

OK, check this one out. Several of my favorite dresses are KSwiss:

I even have matching white and silver shoes.

My long search for a white dress may be over.

I swear, I think dresses are catching on.

I saw a lady last night wearing the Maria yellow dress. It isn't my favorite (she was a blond woman and that is a lot of yellow), but the fit was great. She had your average figure, and still the fit was great.

Then I saw a larger lady (not fat, just overall larger) wearing this one:

It looked good. I think there is something about Nike's tendency to do a very fitted waist that helps the dress make a woman look more petite.

A couple of my teammates are thinking of taking the plunge and buying their first dresses, but both of them said that what is holding them back is that they are afraid they will look too juvenile.

Cindy, I love that white dress. I thought about getting it, too. K-Swiss does great whites. They're never see-through.

OK, I ordered the KSwiss white dress. Against my better judgment, though.

I am worried it will be too long. The last KSwiss dress I bought had to be hemmed, so I assume this one will also need a hem. That adds $20 to the price -- maybe more given the gathered hem.

I also ordered the cool new Nike one. It is fitted in the mid-section and then looks kind of A-line, so that might be perfect for me.

I am very, very worried about the bra situation with it, however. Check out the back. Unless the shelf bra can do the heavy lifting, it probably will have to go back:

Look how amazing it looks on Azarenka:

Which dress are you wearing July 3 Cindy?

THUNDERDOME!

Do you ever wear the Adidas dress for your matches (the one we both have?).

I wore the pink adidas for singles for my 4.0 team, as pink is our team color.

Haven't decided on what to wear for our July 3 smackdown. It depends on exactly how big my butt is that day.

Well. The two white dresses came, and I am really torn.

The KSwiss is very nice. Good fabric, fits nicely. It would definitely need to be hemmed, though. It is very heavy because of the extensive pleats at the bottom. Having it be long and heavy is no good. I think it would be cute if 2-3 inches were lopped off the bottom.

That said, the Nike dress totally rocks. The open back is a dream come true. See, I actually have muscles on my back. No really, I do. And they all look pretty nice in the back of that Nike dress.

Alas, there is a problem. I couldn't very well slap a huge sports bra on that open back, could I? Which means I would have to "go commando," relying only on the Nike built-in Non-Bra. Boy, I dunno. There's a lot of anatomy showing, and I have some difficulty filling up the cups. Is there any solution that might work?

I may just go with it. I have a friend from France, and she has no trouble at all having some anatomy showing through her little tops. What's my hang-up?

I have to say, that cute little hem, that fitted waist, that billowy skirt . . . that is a terrific little dress.

Okay, maybe this is getting a bit up close and personal, but you might feel better having your tailor/seamstress tack some soft cups to the make-believe built in bra. Not Victoria's Secret type molded things, but some soft removable liners that you see in bathing suits. Modesty can be dealt with. Needing support is a different story.

I wish I could get away with using the flimsy built in bra, but alas...ample cleavage.

Gorgeous dress!

Errr...Ummmm....

Nice dresses! I rarely see players here playing in them, given our extreme temperatures!

Now if I could only convince my girlfriend to start playing in them....

Gorgeous dress!
Sometimes the easiest solution is right under your nose.

I modeled the Nike dress for my daughter. She loved the back. She was a little queasy about the Commando problem. I wasn't filling it up, and it was too sheer. Curses!

Then I remembered that I have a bra I regularly wear that is similar to my skin color. Conventional straps. I put it on under the dress and it was perfect. The straps work under the dress straps, and the bra cup fills up the Nike Non-Cup. Huzzah!! Now I need to wear it once to verify that the length works. It feels a little long, so I may want to hem it,

As for the KSwiss, daughter loved the top, but she didn't like the pleating on the bottom. Thought it was too heavy. It feels heavy when I wear it, so I will send it back.

I think I will debut the new white Nike on Saturday!!

Oh no, here we go again! I am out with an injury for another month and a half at least, until my high school season and have been out for over a month and a half already... so unfortunately for my bank account buying tennis clothes in hopes of wearing them is the only way I feel into the game.
I'm thinking about getting the Nike that Cindy just reviewed, but in blue. It's SO cute! The fitted-ness under the bust looks like it would actually work nicely.
