Default Wimbledon 2010 stringing

I'll be stringing at Wimbledon again this year, so follow me on Twitter - @uk_skippy.

Please do not ask for specific players' specs as like asking for credit, refusal often offends. I'll post what I can, when I can.

Ooh, do you know what machines you'll be using at Wimbledon this year?

We are using Prince 6000 with new, solid clamps.

Do you actually get to meet the players? Or are you just the back room lacky that they never talk to?

Ouch!

And you might want to work on your spelling:

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/lackey

I know in Rome the stringing area was in the shopping pavilion. Some players carried their own rackets in - saw Tsonga, Isner, Querrey, Monaco, Bellucci, (and others I've forgotten) walking theirs over.

I'll try but I'm likely to post after the tournament.

I'm a stringer. We don't talk to the players unless they want to talk to us. We're to busy stringing to talk, or try to talk to the players.

Regards

I started this thread so that people can use twitter to see whats happening while I'm working. Twitter is just quick soundbites, and that's all I want to do at this time. I'm not going to take peoples request to hunt down the racquets and supply the specs. Sorry.

I will give some information when I can and if I can. But its more likely to be at the end of the tournament.

My tweets are to give an idea of what we're doing rather than just facts and figures. I'll give those when I can.

If you're not happy with that, then sorry, but there's no need to result to profanity!
