I was on an ALTA team (its the local atlanta tennis group) and the other team's line 5 is over an hour late, our fives had been waiting, but since everyone's matches had completed and the food was about gone, we decided to claim forfeit. The opposing captain agreed at that time. About 2 minutes later, he comes over to us and says My guy is on the way and will be here in 15 minutes. Our line 5 says we've already agreed that y'all forfeited. The opposing captain then goes on a 5 minute tirade calling everyone on our team just about everything in the book and using some very choice words towards our Line 5 (who happens to be a very effeminate gay man). It was by far the rudest conduct I've ever seen in or around tennis. I wanted to fight this 60ish year old man who blew a gasket.
