Do any pros with a one handed backhand play with a tight string pattern say 18x20. Off the top of my head it seems they all have open pattern. Anyone have any thoughts or comments as to why this is and if there are any pros with a tight string pattern? Thanks.

Haas has switched to 16x19
Wawrinka used to use 18x20. So did Dimitrov. |

So other than Kuerten the majority of top 15 players with 1hbh have used open patterns. Thoughts as to why this is?

Hey Marcus 2137, how do you know this is a PT57a, i.e. what features makes it obvious this is that particular racket ?

Tommy Haas is the only one that comes to mind for me. Maybe also James Blake and Tommy Robredo

Just looked at a picture in another thread and it is 16 mains. Last edited by NLBwell : 10-06-2012 at 06:55 PM. |
