He uses Tecnifibre Contact Overgrips. And yes, there is leather underneath.

His leather is applied right handed and the overgrip is applied left handed, weird, thought he would have both the same

My knowledge about the new Raquets from Dunlop :

Verdasco : Biomimetic 300 Tour

Davidenko : Biomimetic 200 plus

Melzer : Biomimetic 300 Tour

Almagro : Biomimetic 500 Tour

Robredo : Biomimetic 600

Cibulkova : Biomimetic 600 Lite

Greetings Marc

These haters are the same clowns that show up to the courts dressed like Federer or Nadal and play 3.5 tennis. They worry about having the same racquet and strings/tension as this pro or that pro, but the truth is they cannot feel the difference from one to the next.

If a company can make a better racquet and offer someone a better deal, why not switch? I realize that most people on this board are 15 or under, but one day you will understand that if a company comes to you and offers you a similar job for more money or a better job for more money, you have to at least look at taking it. The way you kids think, you'll be a 50 year old peon at the first company you ever work for making $15K per year...hahahahaha.

As far as Dunlop goes, I think they made a great move getting Verdasco. They make excellent racquets, but I'm sure most of you will continue to sit in front of your computer sipping your Haterade and talking about PJs all day long.
believe it or not but alot of high level tennis players use the same racquet there whole career and if they dont they switch very few times.

It's Biomimetic. There is a video on Youtube of the Biomimetic 300 Tour. The name just rolls off the tongue.

That's the way I put mine on, right-handed for the leather and left-handed for the overgrip. It's hard to come by left-handed skived grips.

Are you really sure that they bought the mould ?? never..why TF would sell his technology...and just for your information...any PJ is not allowed without their agreement...otherwise it would be an imitation...actually nobody knows what's happening...just wrong rumours.

Biomimetics means imitating or being inspired by nature to solve human problems.

Whoever came up with the name must have been watching way too much bad children's TV. It sounds like a Pokemon creature.

I am happy, though, that Dunlop is fighting to stay in the business. I was a little worried about the brand after they lost many players and after I saw their new models on sale here.
