Scariest Thing your Partner Said to you
I thought this was funny so I thought I'd make a thread.
My daughter was playing their 4th match in Districts over the weekend. She had played 2X for 2 days straight. In their final match, which she was excited about winning, her partner said to her: "something's wrong with my racquet."  ROFL If you want anything to burst your bubble it would be those words! What exactly does that mean anyhow?  How aggravating for your partner to hear that!!! |

I was paired with a guy who flew in from New York to La Costa to play the Pro/Am in the Men's A division. He told me his name and with a straight face the next then he said was," I won this division last year and I expect to win it again this year."
Way to apply the pressure. Well, he was good; so he won again. Good thing.
