feds 2010 french polo

ive tried on the AO 2010 one in a large (my usual size) and it seemed not very tight and fairly long, unfortunately there were no mediums left to try instead. i was wondering if the fit varies heaps from large to medium. i have the fed 09 wimby polo in large and that fits slim so i was wondering whether the medium of the french (and im sure all the other 2010 polos as theyre probably similar cuts) fit anything like 09 one?

dont know if itll help but im a similar size and shape to roddick, about 187cm and 84kg
